Peggy Scott Laborde is
the producer/host of New Orleans public television station
WYES’ weekly arts and entertainment program, Steppin’
Out. The program is in its 23rd season. Her other books include Canal Street: New Orleans’ Great Wide Way & Christmas In New Orleans
Laborde has produced over 15 documentaries
pertaining to the history and culture of New Orleans.
She was president of the nationally acclaimed Tennessee
Williams/ New Orleans Literary Festival for over a decade.
